Child Safety Standards

Nexdor is a community platform that connects neighbours in real-world communities. We are committed to keeping children safe and to taking strong measures against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This page describes our published standards in compliance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy and applicable Indian and international law.

Our Commitment

Nexdor has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual abuse and exploitation, the grooming of children, and any conduct that endangers minors. We take active steps to detect, prevent, remove, and report such content and behaviour.

Eligibility and Age Requirement

Nexdor is intended for users aged 13 and above. During sign-up, every user is required to confirm that they are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts on Nexdor.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, we will:

• delete the account and all associated content as quickly as practicable;
• remove the underlying user data from our systems within our standard data deletion timeline;
• review related accounts and content to detect any further safety concerns.

Prevention Measures

To prevent CSAE-related content and conduct from appearing on Nexdor, we apply the following measures:

• Automated content moderation. User-generated text, including posts, comments, messages, and profile fields, is checked through automated moderation before it is shown publicly. Profanity and known abusive terms are blocked or quarantined.
• Image upload review. We discourage and are not designed to host explicit, sexually suggestive, or otherwise harmful imagery. Users who upload such material face account suspension and removal of content.
• Restricted discoverability. User profiles, posts, and activity are visible primarily to verified members of the user's community and their trusted connections rather than to the general public, reducing exposure of minors to strangers.
• Community guidelines. Our Terms of Use explicitly prohibit harassment, sexually suggestive content, exploitation of minors, impersonation, and grooming behaviour.

In-App Reporting

Every user can report posts, comments, messages, services, profiles, and reviews from inside the Nexdor app. Reports are routed to our moderation team and the underlying content is automatically restricted from public surfaces once a small number of reports has been received, pending human review.

To report content:

• tap the report icon on any post, comment, message, profile, or review;
• select a reason, including a reason for child safety or exploitation concerns;
• submit. Reports are confidential and the reporting user is not disclosed to the reported party.

Removal and Action on Violations

Where we detect or are notified of CSAE content, grooming, or any conduct that endangers minors, we will, at our discretion:

• remove the content immediately;
• suspend or terminate the offending account;
• preserve relevant records for review and law-enforcement cooperation;
• report the content and account information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to applicable Indian authorities, including the National Crime Records Bureau and the relevant state cyber-crime cell, where required by law.

Reporting CSAE to Nexdor

If you believe that a Nexdor user, account, or piece of content involves child sexual abuse, exploitation, or grooming, you may report it to us in any of the following ways:

Please include as much detail as possible: the username, profile, post, message, or other identifier; the date and time observed; and a brief description of the concern. We aim to acknowledge child-safety reports within 24 hours and to take action within 72 hours.

Reporting CSAE to Authorities

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

To report CSAE in India:

• National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal: cybercrime.gov.in (the dedicated reporting category for "Reporting Women / Child Related Crime" handles CSAE reports anonymously)
• Childline India helpline: 1098 (24x7 free helpline for children in distress)
• Local police: Dial 112 for unified emergency response, or visit the local cyber-crime cell.

To report CSAE internationally:

• NCMEC CyberTipline (United States): report.cybertip.org
• INHOPE network: inhope.org (locate your country's hotline)

We comply with the following laws, regulations, and frameworks where applicable:

• The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act) of India;
• The Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, of India;
• The U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where it applies to users in the United States;
• The Google Play Child Safety Standards Policy.
